Moving the intercooler in front of the radiator restricts airflow and increases the temperature of air flowing through it. These factors are often overlooked but you need to compensate for both air restriction and higher air temperatures flowing through the radiator. The best solution is to upgrade to a CSF High-Performance Radiator.; The original OE radiator from Subaru is a plastic tank with a single row aluminum core design.
