The filter base also features a 3-angle velocity stack for smooth, even air flow. Quantum uses a dyno tuned, CAD-designed intake tube to achieve optimum air flow. It's made from high impact, XLPE material for heat soak resistance and durability. The Quantum Intake System includes silicone bellows couplings to absorb excessive engine movement and provide flexibility for a secure and easy install. Quantum intakes are designed with fewer parts for a quick and simple installation. This is a direct fit intake system that utilizes factory mounting points and requires no cutting or modifications.
