Mercedes-Benz A, CLA, & GLA Class Upper Engine Mount Insert (Black Series)

This is an insert to fit into the original mount to limit movement of the engine, providing stability under acceleration. A small increase in noise and vibration is to be expected. This should be considered a performance upgrade.
Upper mount fitments include: A CLASS W176 INC. A45 AMG (2012-2017), CLA CLASS W117 & W156 (2012-2016), GLA CLASS W156 (2012-2017) - see below for lower mount.
This part replaces OEM Part Number: A 246 240 08 09
Fitting Instructions:
Note: It should not be necessary to remove the engine mount from the vehicle.
1. Cut any internal rubber flashing and clean any corrosion from the mount as shown on figure 2.
2.Apply grease on the insert.
3. Fit the polyurethane insert into the engine mount from the top side until it sits in contact with the bracket, as shown in figures 3 and 4.
4. Tension all hardware to manufacturers recommended torque settings.
