Formulated for the extreme demands of automatic transmissions used in drag racing, Lucas Oil Semi-Synthetic ATF Sure-Shift uses a blend of petroleum oil and polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base oil. Its polyalkylmethacrylate (PAMA) viscosity modifier is designed to provide low-temperature fluidity and resist permanent shear thinning.

Balanced frictional properties help promote smooth shifting and protect clutch packs from excessive wear. Lucas states that the fluid also resists foaming under hard driving conditions. MPN 10052 is the 1-quart size.
