Its paraffinic base-oil formulation includes zinc, molybdenum, and phosphorus additives to help provide a durable lubricant film and protect camshaft and valvetrain components. Lucas states that it improves film strength between cylinder walls and piston rings, and is not recommended for passenger-car use.
